Tip of the Day
You really are what you eat at the end of the day. Eat the right things and you will see great results whether it be running, swimming, cycling or just trying to shed a few pounds. The inverse is also true so be smart in what you eat.
Quote of the Day
"You have to wonder at times what you're doing out there. Over the years, I've given myself a thousand reasons to keep running, but it always comes back to where it started. It comes down to self-satisfaction and a sense of achievement." - Prefontaine

What's New
4/25/12
Things are picking up over at Running Redemption. Some new light reading for all of you on the subject of breakfast and why it is important and why you need to eat the right things as well. The race calendar has been updated to show all races up to the end of August for anyone looking for a challenge. A boatload of new blogs from the last few days about everything from a race recap, to a new training routine and even a discussion about casinos. So check them out.
4/21/12
With nearly a third of 2012 done how's everyone's training going? If things aren't going quite as planned or you've simply fallen off the wagon a little fear not because you can always get back into the swing of things. For helpful ways how check out some of the articles on the site. Also read Brian's blog. Take the poll and most importantly get out there and stay active.
3/8/12
New poll, slightly new format, new races added to the race calendar. As the weather gets warmer make sure to get outside and run instead of hibernating in the gym. And if you are unsure if you are making progress with your running there is one way to find out and that is to enter a race and see just how good you are.
2/17/12
Updates to tips, quotes and motivation sections. Race page now has calendar up to the end of June 2012. New blog posted today as well as new article on running etiquette that sadly will sound more like preaching to the choir as those reading it probably know most of it and practice it already. Still worth a read.
